Each concho has been cast in sterling silver from a hand hammered
US silver quarter and has the name of the artist on the backside
and each is signed and dated. The reproductions are cast in sterling
silver. The belt is available as a traditional southwestern
style all metal link belt or on leather as shown above. Each concho
is $38... The leather belt typically would have approximately
10- 14 conchos, one of which would be centered in the buckle made
from a hand hammered US 50 cent piece $105. Another option is
to use the Texas star buckle shown above $165. The cost of
the leather belt with 11 conchos and buckle would be approx. $600
plus postage/insurance (plus sales tax in Texas). The
cost of an all metal belt would be $38 x the number of conchos,
approximately $800 plus postage/insurance. (21 conchos with
circle loops in between as shown above are 37" long with
a 4" loop tail.)
4 - 5 Conchos can make a handsome link bracelet. Conchos
are also available for a one of a kind unique guitar strap or
sold individually as a pendant or earrings.. The Texas Star buckle
is $165...plus $35 on leather with no conchos.
